One of the contact center highlights of 2013 was the purchase of Voxeo by Aspect in July 2013. By January 2014, the company was ready to announce it had delivered a new multi-tenant cloud contact center offering via the company's Voxeo cloud and telco infrastructure, Zipwire. Zipwire is the resale of a solution created by a small firm, Bright Pattern, that Aspect acquired a 51% interest in for $6.7 million in 2013.
