Six Visionaries on Tap for Enterprise Connect Orlando Keynotes

Heads-up, everybody: Enterprise Connect this morning announced its 2016 keynoters, a stellar lineup that includes main stage newcomers and alumni, all of whom promise to share their unique perspectives on the latest trends and technologies in enterprise communications. Next year's conference takes place March 7-10 in Orlando.

New to Enterprise Connect, but certainly not to enterprise communications, are Ray Ozzie, founder and CEO of Talko, and Doug Suriano, SVP and general manager of Oracle Communications. Each gentleman has a long and respected history:

While Ozzie will share his vision for an increasingly mobile, collaborative future, Suriano will offer up his ideas on the merging worlds of communications and the cloud, a bit of which he discussed with us on No Jitter back in June.

Ozzie and Suriano will join a foursome of returning keynoters, back by popular demand:

  • Rowan Trollope, SVP and general manager with Cisco's Collaboration Technology Group
  • Zig Serafin, corporate VP with Microsoft Skype for Business Services
  • Adam Swidler, Google's head of solution strategy for Google Apps for Work; and
  • Gary Barnett, SVP and general manager of Avaya Engagement Solutions

Eric Krapf, Enterprise Connect general manager, put it well in his official press statement: "We're thrilled to welcome such a dynamic group of renowned experts to our keynote stage, addressing the industry's current trends and transitions."

As he noted, "The industry is in the midst of a profound transition, as communications continues to permeate every aspect of our work and personal lives, and enterprises grapple with the implications of these technical and cultural shifts. Each of our keynoters will be able to deliver unique perspectives on the industry and its exciting future."

If the chance to get thought leadership of this caliber isn't enough to get you to Orlando come March, I hope you consider four days chockfull of technology sessions, including a one-day WebRTC conference-in-a-conference, plus conference tracks filled with sessions on unified communications and collaboration, cloud communications, contact center, video, enterprise mobility, SIP trunking, and management and security, as good incentive. See what we have planned here, and check back often as we're busily building out our event program in the coming weeks.

Of course, we also bring the top industry vendors to Orlando as well, in a one-of-its-kind exposition focused on enterprise communications. No matter what your enterprise's top challenges, you're sure to find companies at the ready with viable solutions.
