Barbara A. Grothe, CTP, is a Sr. Consultant with The BAZ Group based in Toledo, OH. She received her CTP (Certified Telecommunications Professional) certification from St. Mary's College in Minnesota.Barbara has been a featured speaker for national industry conferences including the World Conference on Incoming Call Center Management (ICCM), Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI), the Banking Administration Institute, Administrative Management Society and the Society of Telecommunications Consultants. Prior to founding her firm, she was a Sr. Consultant with Olive & Co. CPA's, now BKD, LLP. She also served as Telecom Manager for Farm Bureau Insurance Company for 13 years.
She is Co-Author of The Handbook of Telecommunications, published by Business Communications Review in Chicago. Her articles have appeared nationally in Investors Business Daily, Entrepreneurial Woman, and Computer Consultant magazines. Barbara is listed in the Who's Who in the Midwest and the Who's Who of Emerging Leaders of America for her accomplishments.
In 2007, Barbara received the distinguished International Fellow of the Year Award. This award was given by the Director of CICS (Center for Information and Communication Sciences) at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Barbara is Past Executive VP of the Society of Communications and Technology Consultants, International (SCTC) based in California.
