Jeanne Bayerl has over 25 years' experience in the Enterprise Communications market in North America and Europe. She is currently the Director of US Field Marketing for Communications and Networks within Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. She has been with Alcatel-Lucent for 11 years and has held various marketing, solution management and business development roles, both in North America and in the company's headquarters in Paris, France.
Ms. Bayerl has an extensive background in voice/data convergence and IP telephony, having held lead R&D and marketing roles in this area since 1987. Prior to joining Alcatel in 2000, she was with AT&T/Lucent Bell Laboratories where she was involved in the design, planning, development, roll-out and marketing of new products for both the enterprise and service provider communications markets. She began her career at Bell Labs developing feature requirements for traditional voice communications systems and then moved into CTI, next-generation converged systems and IP telephony solutions as those areas were emerging.
She received a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and holds two US Patents in the telecommunications field.
