Philip Clarke

Philip Clarke is a Research Analyst with Nemertes Research, where he conducts research, advises clients on wireless topics, writes key trend and thought leadership reports, conducts statistical analysis and develops research reports.

Philip is a widely regarded expert on wireless technology and its application for business and government. As a consultant, he has developed multiple municipal Wi-Fi projects, established network requirements, researched strategy and written corresponding RFPs.

Philip draws on an accomplished consultancy background characterized by projects ranging from streamlining database integration and business process design to developing interoperability plans for first responders. At Accenture, he streamlined business processes, conducted database redesign, and directed mobile market assessments. At Civitium, he developed comprehensive plans and RFPs to support the construction of large-scale municipal WiFi projects. Phil began his career at the University of Colorado where he performed research for cognitive radio infrastructure and design.

Philip focuses mainly on the state of the wireless market, forecasting mobile device management and application trends. With his diverse experience, Philip is able to aggregate multiple disciplines into a unique, cohesive perspective to better inform clients of what they are facing today.

Philip holds a master of science in telecommunications and a bachelor of science in information systems, both from the University of Colorado. In his free time, Philip enjoys hiking and snowboarding.
