A relic from the dark ages of Web design, Wolfram Hempel clawed his way into the light of superfast servers and distributed real-time systems. Along the way he dabbled with the exciting technologies behind financial trading, investment banking, AAA gaming, travel booking, and the strange world where fridges talk to the Internet.
Today he is co-founder and CEO of deepstreamHub -- an upcoming real-time data platform -- and co-developer of deepstream.io -- a new open source server. Prior to this, he developed many open source projects, which can be found as far away as NASA, JPMorgan and Bank of America.
Wolfram is an accomplished speaker, author, host of the Berlin Realtime Web Meetup and dedicated, yet hopeless hobby cook. He also once studied art history, but that's a story for another day.
