Jon Ingham, Independent People Management & Organization Design Consultant
Jon is an independent people management and organization design consultant who has also worked as a chemical engineer, an IT consultant, and an international HR director. He is based in the U.K. but works globally.
Most of his work links to changes taking place due to digital disruption, including introducing new workforce categories, developing network leaders, innovating organization architectures and HR processes, and transforming HR groups to support and enable these shifts, including through the use of digital technologies themselves.
Jon has written several books and articles on modern people and organization strategies, including his 2017 book, "The Social Organization." He has been interviewed on the future of work by various media, including BBC Breakfast and Radio 4’s Today program.
He also speaks at leading conferences around the world and trains business leaders and HR practitioners in innovative approaches to people management. In addition, he has lectured in strategic management, change management, and HR on executive MBA courses and has conducted research for various firms including the Economist Intelligence Unit.
He has a BA in Psychology, a Masters in Engineering and an MBA. He has frequently been recognized as a leading authority in HR, and in 2019 was one of HR Magazine (U.K.)’s Most Influential Movers and Shakers and one of HR Executive's (U.S.) top HR Tech Influencers.
