Twitter Chat: Is UCaaS Inevitable for Your Enterprise?
Join the No Jitter and Enterprise Connect Twitter chat, “Is UCaaS Inevitable for Your Enterprise?” on Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 1 to 2 p.m. ET, using the #NJchat hashtag.
You may have heard that when it comes to moving to the cloud for communications, the question is no longer if you'll move but rather when you'll do so. In fact, according to data shared by Nemertes Research in a recent No Jitter/Enterprise Connect webinar sponsored by XO Communications, more than three-fourths of organizations are looking to cloud-based services for unified communications and collaboration.
Even as interest in UC as a service (UCaaS) picks up steam, many questions still loom large.
For instance, how exactly should we define UCaaS? What is driving its adoption in the enterprise and what are its benefits? How do the costs stack up against premises-based UC offerings? How does an organization go about differentiating between offerings and providers?
Further, how should enterprises view hybrid approaches? And what security considerations should be top of mind when evaluating a migration to UCaaS?
"UCaaS is emerging as the default approach, rapidly shifting from the exception to the norm. But the motivations that are driving UCaaS growth, and the actual offers from the UCaaS providers still vary significantly," said UC industry analyst Dave Michels.
To explore these questions and variables, we've invited Dave (@DaveMichels), principal analyst at TalkingPointz, along with Zeus Kerravala (@zkerravala), founder and principal analyst at ZK Research, to join us for our first-ever No Jitter (@NoJitter) and Enterprise Connect (@enterprisecon) Twitter chat. And we'd love for you to join us!
Our Twitter chat will take place this Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 1 to 2 p.m. ET, with the hashtag #NJchat. Bring your questions, comments, and experiences, and join in the live online discussion. Again, please use the hashtag #NJchat to participate.
