Report: Avaya IPO May Be in April Bloomberg reports the intial public offering could come soon.

Bloomberg reports the intial public offering could come soon.

Bloomberg is reporting that Avaya's much-awaited IPO could take place in April.

Avaya filed for the IPO in June of last year, but has not officially said when it plans to actually do the offering. The delay has been widely attributed to a slow IPO market overall and the shaky economy.

Avaya has said it plans to raise $1 billion in the IPO, which would leave private equity owners Silver Lake Partners and TCG in retention of majority control of the company.
